Almost a year ago today, I finally decided to pluck up the courage to learn to drive at the age of 38.
With no experience and a massive lack of confidence on the road I contacted Lin from 1nfluence, as she had worked with a colleague and I felt she sounded perfect for me.
I knew that overcoming my anxiety and lack of confidence while learning to drive wouldn’t be easy for me and that I would probably take longer than most to become the driver I wanted to be, but Lin gave me the encouragement and support I needed to help me achieve my goal bit by bit. Now, after passing my driving test first time with no faults at all, I feel I have gained everything I need to become a safe and confident driver.
I would recommend 1nfluence to anybody of any ability, or age who are considering driving lessons because they deliver a high standard of teaching and especially confidence building. I never thought I would be in control of a moving vehicle and although I took baby steps to begin with, I feel this is the biggest accomplishment for me and couldn’t have done it without Lin’s help.
Not only can I drive confidently at a high standard, but I believe in me outside of the car too!!
