We offer specialist support if you have high anxiety, specific needs, or if you just find learning to drive especially challenging.

Specialist Driver Training for Nervous & Anxious Drivers

Around a quarter of UK drivers are anxious or nervous about one or more aspects of driving, from a few minor wobbles about large and busy junctions, through to an almost complete fear of driving.

Lin Webb from 1nfluence Driver Training has experienced anxiety, lack of confidence and PTSD herself in the last 30 years. She uses her unique insight, together with 25 years as a Driving Instructor, to work with you and develop effective coping strategies to help you overcome any driving worries you have.

Meet Lin Webb from 1nfluence Driver Training

Lin began working as a driving instructor in 1998, and through her time working with the big schools such as BSM and the AA, she has been an instructor coach and mentor, as well as a Fleet Registered Trainer, an ORDIT Trainer, and has run Induction and Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) development courses for the AA.

Her curiosity about using coaching techniques to improve road safety led her to undertake extensive further training, including the BTEC Level 4 Professional Award in Coaching for Driver Development, as well as an Approved Driving Instructor course at the Queen Elizabeth Foundation (a leading disability charity).
