It was great to spend time with Lin today. I passed my driving test in Poland 15 years ago, but driving was never something that I enjoyed doing…… and since moving to the UK 8 year ago I haven’t driven at all. Add to that my decision to buy an automatic car…… I had a few things to work on!
Although I told Lin that I wanted to start my UK driving in a quiet area, within a short time I was agreeing to driving all over the place! We drove to some of my friend’s houses and then to Sainsbury’s and got stuck into some parking in the multi-storey car park, something I never thought possible. I can’t believe how I was smiling by the end of the lesson. I’m really looking forward to driving with Lin again next week
