Preparing for the Theory and Hazard Perception test was always going to be tricky for Connor Franklin, but boy did he work hard to achieve a brilliant pass this week. Connor felt that mornings were the best time to structure study, in order to keep focus and put an hour aside EVERY morning for this revision. He found that mindmaps and flashcards helped his understanding and we tried to find real life examples of the subject he struggled where possible. There was a big problem with the phrasing of the questions at the start, as Connor initially would take the wording very literally – I feel the DVSA could do a better job with this!!

Connor has been doing a lot of private practice with mum and his driving skills are improving each week, so it wont be too long before a practical test is passed giving him more job opportunities in the future as well as independence.
