I had a lovely working day yesterday! ….. My Edenbridge driver worked hard to achieve her session goals. In the past she has felt that anything other than perfection was failure, at whatever task she was attempting. It was great yesterday to hear her talk about how much she had improved in our time together. She made a comment at the end of our lesson about how it’s easier for people that are born in this country….. when I asked ‘what is easier?’, she replied that, ‘people from xxxx don’t like to follow rules’. This will be a really interesting start to our next lesson!!….. I went into Sevenoaks next, to meet a guy that travels a long way to meet me. He has had many lessons with three different trainers over nearly 20 years!! He lives (and drives) with dyspraxia and yesterday, he used strategies we had highlighted to drive on a mix of different for the whole of his 2 hour lesson!! Massive success!!
